A
far-away land...a king...a queen...a secret prayer....a beautiful
princess...an evil magician....a daring brave prince...a
dragon...a saga....surround yourself in its magic!
Princess Rose is a story about a pair of
aged Monarchs of Carlisle who were getting on in years and there
was still no heir to the throne. The Queen was distraught and
troubled that she was nearing her middle age years without
experiencing the joys of motherhood. In her distress she poured
her soul into the night by the 'Gilded Pond' only to find that
she wasn't alone, for in her distress, she was comforted by seven
blithe sisters that called themselves the 'Moonbeam Fairies'. In
a month a beautiful Princess was born to the aged Monarchs who
were the delight of all. It looked like everything was Happily
Ever After until the king's chief Magician concocted a plot to
kidnap the Princess and become King of Carlisle himself.
The book is colourfully illustrated by the author.
