"The Mission"
|
In 1989 I bought a software package for my Commodore 64, called The Shoot 'Em Up Construction Set (SEUCK) for short. This neat program enabled anyone without programming knowledge to create games. With help from another friend called David (David Axtell), we created a game called Phantom the Mission. I designed all of the graphics, while David helped with the game play and direction. We sent Phantom to a Commodore 64 Disk magazine called Commodore Disk User, they published the game and we received £100 for our efforts, although whilst creating other games with SEUCK, these were rejected, most probably due to an over exposed genre of this type of game creation !?! |
