"This is filled with mainly Soundtracker compatible modules. There are 17 in all, and fairly good they are too. There are two disks to this package, but having two drives is neither a necessity nor an advantage, as there is plenty of time allocated for disk swapping. Some of the songs are excellent, some are decidedly average. There is music here from various different sources, including new songs, tunes from records, films, computer games, and so on.

Mega Music Compilation IV includes a thrash metal version of The Birdie Song, a Madonna song, James Bond theme tunes, various dance tracks, and plenty of others. All musicians involved with the writing of the tunes are credited on the menu screen. Generally, the sound is very pleasant and clear, and definitely worth a listen to."

( a compilation of goodies )

This is one of my favourite compilations, using the Red Sector Intro Maker and several Picture and Menu Utilities. It gave a nice simply polished look !

"This little program is, strangely enough, nothing to do with Tarot cards. It is an astrology program aimed at reader who believe their destiny is in the stars. Tarot displays a list of all the star signs from which you select yours, or that of your wife, off-spring or milkman. After a short while information relating to that star sign is displayed. This information lets you know such useful nuggets as which star sign is compatible with yours along with a hole host of information regarding your personality"

"Axle Tarot is a bit like a Porsche with the engine of a Robin Reliant. You have to admit it looks damned impressive. If it was reviewed in the demo section, Maff might have had a few kind words to say about its atmospheric music and glossy graphics. The Intro sequence is, in fact, the best bit of the whole program and leads you to believe that you're in for something really special, particularly as it comes on two disks. (Pity it won't let you use two drives.)

Unfortunately, Axle Tarot has absolutely nothing to do with tarot. In fact, has nothing to do with casting predictions at all. All it really does is list the various attributes of the 12 signs of the Zodiac.

Just click on your star sign on the colourful, intricate main menu page, and you get two more colourful, intricate pages of waffle about your birth sign characteristics. And that's it.

It may still be worth getting hold of, though, purely for the music that accompanies the intro sequence !"

My comments for this review is that I admit calling the program by the wrong name, it should have been Astro II ! Along with the reviewer calling it by the incorrect name, Axle Tarot II (Astro II).

"The main menu page of Axle Tarot looks impressive. The intro that preceded it was impressive. The astrology program that follows it, however, is not. Nice graphics, shame about the rest."
