A great collection of the Best Basic Programs from Personal Computer World Magazine in 1984.

This collection of Software brings back vivid memories. Especially when I typed the original Program Listings from the Magazine itself, like we all did for sure. Luckily the Tape was available as well ! My favourites are Balloon and Robotank. Below is a List of the Programs that appeared on the original Tape :

Side A

Balloon
Music Player
Blaster
Handel
Robotank
Map Quiz
Fighter Pilot
Just 64 Words
Video Credits 1
Video Credits 2
Patience
Search and Rescue
Solar System
Convoy

Side B

Calendars
Guardian
Tarot
Directory
Colour Selector
Cheese
Dual Display
Sprite Editor
Trek Star

I have transferred the Programs from Tape to Disk to D64 format. To enable you play these Programs, you must have a C64 Emulator, CCS64, Seattle Labs C64s or Vice. It is in D64 format and ZIP format.

Also in my library of C64 goodies, I have another PCW Tape with various other Programs. Amongst them, I found a Game written by non other than Anthony Crowther ( Monty Mole and Loco fame ), called Baby Monty ! This is the original version and not the tampered with version that various others have claimed to written in Basic.
